July 4th

We had a great 4th of July! It was quite a busy day for us. We went to the Marietta parade, went swimming and then had Stuart's parents and his sister Alex and her kids over for fireworks. Mimi had fun playing with her friend Ali and then later hanging out with her cousin and best buddy Ebbo. Mimi loved the sparklers and was the first kid to want to hold one. She doesn't get being fearless from me but I am so happy she is!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I am not sure why I have gotten so behind. Mimi has grown so much over the last few months. She is becoming my little buddy and is constantly supplying us with laughs from the funny things she says. Here are some pictures over the last few months.

Here are some random pictures from January. Mimi and I spent a few days at the beach with my parent but most of the month was spent around the house. Stuart and I also made it to the Cobb Chamber Dinner.

Lazy days and Crazy hair!

We are still recovering from the holidays! Mimi was so tired one day that she fell asleep while eating. She is finally getting a hang of her horse "Harry". The first few days she talked about it like it was a new pet. Finally she realized it was a fun toy and hops on and off of it all day! The last few pics are of her hair when she wakes up from a nap. She doesn't have much hair but still manages to get some serious bedhead!

We spent New Years Eve at the Brumby's. We had a great time relaxing with our friends! Mimi made a new friend and they enjoyed running around together all night. Mimi made it until midnight to welcome in the New Year with us!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning was exciting this year. Mimi wasn't exactly sure what was going on but was very happy to get some new toys. She caught a cold while we were in Alabama and was running a pretty high fever all day. I was happy though that she was still able to run around and enjoy herself in spite of feeling bad. Mimi is a very tough baby and it takes a lot to stop her. We didn't get any pictures but enjoyed spending Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day lunch with Stuart's. We are very blessed to have such great families!

Christmas in Alabama!

So once a year we head to the state Stuart and I spent the first 3 years of our marriage. Sadly we didn't make it to Birmingham but instead headed South. I love going and visiting Stuart's extended family. Stuart's Nanny and Bop quickly became mine after we were married and I look forward to seeing them all year. We are also very blessed that Stuart's great grandmom is still alive. We were able to visit with her and get a picture of Mimi with her Great-Great Grandmom.
